BRS leader Rama Rao demands probe by sitting judge into 'foreign coal purchase'

Hyderabad: BRS working president K T Rama Rao on Friday said Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy should order a probe by a sitting judge into alleged scams in state-run miner Singareni Collieries "foreign coal purchases" and other "irregularities" in the Congress government.

The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) is a government coal mining company jointly owned by the Government of Telangana and the Government of India on a 51:49 equity basis.
