Not analysed for framing
Bengaluru: There were no major surprises as the selectors on Friday announced the squads for the ODI and Test legs of the New Zealand series with wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant and pacer Prasidh Krishna chosen, subject to fitness.
Pant picked up left-side strain during the Irani Cup game between Ranji Trophy champions Jammu & Kashmir and the Rest of India, which he was leading, from October 1-4 in Srinagar. Subsequently, he was replaced by Kumar Kushagra for the opening two four-day games between India A and New Zealand A beginning in Lincoln on October 24.
That is the opening of Deccan Herald’s story. The full report is on their site.
