In brief
Elon Musk announced a new feature for X (formerly Twitter) that allows users to send $1 to content creators by long-pressing the 'like' button on posts.
This feature, part of Musk's broader strategy to turn X into an 'everything app' with financial services, is currently limited to the US market alongside existing X Money services.
