- A professor at Symbiosis University's Nagpur campus was placed on forced leave after sending inappropriate messages to a former student, urging her to follow Islamic religious practices. Student unions protested the incident, and a high-power committee was formed to investigate, though no formal police case has been registered as the student and her father declined to file a complaint.
